Description

The purpose of this ongoing study has been to assess the extent to which current practicing counselors are comfortable with talking to clients about sexuality related issues. In response to 30 years of research encouraging development in this area, this survey seeks to explore to what extent current practicing counselors were prepared during their education to discuss and treat problems associated with sex. The presenter will discuss motivation for initiating the research project, the need for research and advancement in this area of counseling and anticipated results.
