The Sky Ranch property is located within the boundaries of Grand Teton National Park, approximately 3 miles west of Moose, Wyoming and 15 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming. The 13.43-acre property lies in the Snake River Valley, between the Teton and Gros Ventre ranges, at the base of Buck Mountain. The property represents a mid-century vacation retreat, with its period of significance ranging from 1952 to 2005. It includes five buildings and two structures of historical importance to local settlement, architecture, recreation, conservation, and landscape architecture. The buildings, crafted in the traditional manner of local pioneer structures, architecturally reflect the Rocky Mountain rustic style.
