The research project focuses on the study of monsoon precipitating cloud systems from various CMIP (Coupled Model Inter - comparison Project) climate models. Firstly, fifteen different climate models from the IPCC database have been used as the original dataset. Then, the cross - analysis among those model results was examined to lay the foundation for observational data analyses. After that, the precipitation changes under different climate change scenarios (such as, 20th century actua l atmospheric condition and future climate under double CO 2 concentration) have been analyzed, respectively. Finally, we are trying to figure out certain regions where the disagreements among models are extraordinarily large during the summer monsoon seaso ns.
