The Community Treasures of Green River PowerPoint presentation was prepared as part of Community Treasures, a program to help Green River and Rock Springs residents identify and protect places of special importance to the heritage of their communities. The project was carried out by the University of Wyoming’s American Studies program, in cooperation with the Green River Historic Preservation Commission, the Sweetwater County Historical Museum and the Rock Springs Historical Museum, with funding from the National Park Service.
This is a pdf copy of a presentation designed to be used for meetings, conferences and workshops, to help both residents and visitors better understand the buildings and places that give Green River its special character.
